From 2000 to 2014 The Glencoe Foundation has funded educational scholarships, contributed to Ha Long Vocational School, and established a computer training program.
In 2003 The Glencoe Foundation partnered with Hanoi University (then Hanoi University of Foreign Studies ) to send teachers from the University’s department of Business Studies and Tourism to study for their MA in Business Studies at Deakin University, Melbourne.
Three of these teachers have now obtained their PhD’s in Australia.
The Foundation funded scholarships for young people from under privileged backgrounds, and distant locations north of Hanoi. The school taught many vocational subjects and over 100 young people benefited from the scholarships.

From 2002 to 2008 over 3500 students benefited from this program.
One of the students was Huy Dang : the Foundation has been able to sponsor his education for the past 10 years and he has now completed his MA in finance from Monash University in Melbourne.
